A 20-year veteran of the banking industry, Harry Hager approaches every homebuying transaction from a position of partnership. He works to identify his customers’ objectives, risk tolerances, and drivers, and then creates a mortgage plan that fits squarely with those factors. Communication and education are pivotal to Harry’s process, and he makes sure that his customers are comfortable and fully understand the homebuying process.
Prior to breaking into the mortgage industry, Harry spent 15 years working in retail banking, small business lending, and consumer lending. His experience at several major local banks allowed him to become an expert at evaluating the current market for homebuyers.
Harry actively serves his community and supports local business growth. He has a 15-year history on the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, is the current president of the Loudoun Business Alliance, current vice president of Loudoun NeXco, and serves on the board of directors for Central Loudoun’s Youth Football League. He has also coached youth football for six years and basketball for four years.
Harry specializes in helping first-time homebuyers, refinancing homeowners, and veterans. He maintains a keen knowledge of the wide range of loan options available for new homebuyers, and his background in banking puts him in a unique position to help homeowners put their mortgage to work by refinancing to achieve their financial goals. Harry is also passionate about helping military families achieve their homeownership dreams. He’s often surprised to find that veterans misunderstand their VA benefit, identifying a VA loan as an entitlement when, in reality, it is their earned benefit for the sacrifices they’ve made.
When Harry isn’t delivering a stellar customer experience, you can find him teaching great life lessons to young people through his coaching and spending time with his family.
